Locator protects your property interest in vehicles by alerting youto adverse
events affecting the vehicles and by informing third parties, including law enforcement and private
parties, of your property interest in vehicles. Locator enables DMVs, auto theft investigators, and
customs to know of your interest in a vehicle when others seek to retitle the vehicle or to ship it out of
the country. Locator enables lenders, dealers and insurers to know of your interest in a vehicle when
deciding whether to purchase the vehicle, loan on it, accept it as a trade-in, insure it, or pay a claim
on it. Locator gives third parties the information that they need to respect and protect your property
rights in vehicles. Locator's actionable reports empower you to intervene to reduce losses to storage
fees, depreciation, lien sales, illegal exports, title fraud, and priority fights. Locator's reports empower
you to focus your recovery efforts on vehicles that can be recovered and to cease investing in trying
to recover vehicles that have been destroyed or shipped out of the country. Locator's services are an
outstanding value for the money. Locator encourages you to get your VINs into its Lender Liens
database and start saving today.

When you subscribe, you receive a daily e-mail alerting you when your vehicles have been entered into the National Crime Information Center database as a stolen vehicle and when your vehicles have been entered into that database as a recovered vehicle. The stolen report enables you to act so as to participate in any insurance claim paid. The recovered report alerts you to the opportunity to get paid on your loan or to repossess the vehicle.

Lender Liens is a premium service, available by separate signup.
Locator has a lien database of more than 25 million VINs representing vehicles subject to liens held by all of the captive auto finance companies, most of the major banks, and many smaller lenders as well. When you
subscribe, you receive a daily e-mail alerting you to prior liens, duplicate financing, and other hazards to your interest in particular vehicles.
Lender Lien reports enable lenders to avoid losses arising from wrongful repossession lawsuits, fraudulent duplicate financing, and from lawsuits over priority to collateral. In addition, adding your VINs to Locator's lien database enables other lenders to learn of your claim to vehicles that they might be offered or accept in trade.
Repair and Storage Liens
Receive a daily e-mail alerting you to pending repair and storage lien sales of your vehicles from jurisdictions that make this information available to Locator. Reports on pending repair and storage lien sales enable lenders to avoid the loss of their collateral to bona fide purchasers at private lien sale and to claim any excess proceeds generated at such sales.
Receive a daily e-mail alerting you when your vehicles have been posted for sale on e-Bay within the last 24 hours. E-Bay reports enable lenders to locate and repossess vehicles offered for sale or to assert their lien and claim proceeds generated by such sales.
LPR is a premium service, available by separate signup, that enables lenders to query Locator's LPR database of private license plate reads to determine where a particular vehicle of theirs has been. Locator's LPR database contains plate reads obtained from repossession agents located in major urban areas throughout the United States. This service enables lenders to place repossession assignments in the correct area, avoiding the expense and work of placing and cancelling repossession assignments in areas where the vehicle is no longer located.
VIN-To-Plate translation is a premium service, available by separate signup, that enables a lender to learn what license plate is associated with the VIN representing a vehicle subject to a lien held by the lender. The translations can go from plate to VIN or from VIN to plate depending on the needs of the lender. VIN-To-Plate translations enable lenders to associate license plate-based parking tickets, moving violations, and toll violations to accounts indexed by VIN. VIN-To-Plate translations also enable lenders to achieve greater returns from the services of LPR-based repossession servicers such as DRN and MVTrack.
